The setting is a private forest of approximately 1,650 hectares stretching across the foothills of Mt. Fukubegatake in Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture. Depart from Sui to Sui and travel to KAYUGAWA BASE, a base surrounded by forest and river.

For the sauna löyly, we use natural distilled water carefully extracted under reduced pressure from kuromoji grown in the forest. Kuromoji has a fresh woody scent with a subtle sweetness. Rising gently with the heat, the fragrance encourages deeper breathing and warms the body slowly to its core.

Because the scent is natural and comes directly from this forest rather than from artificial fragrance, the sauna itself becomes a deeper, quieter form of relaxation.

A. Yes. We confirm the water level and weather conditions on the day and prioritize safety. If you are uncomfortable, you do not have to enter fully; simply soaking your feet is also an option.

Q. Is the program held in the rain?
